The Bangkok Prep community joins the people of Thailand in mourning the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati (1978–2026).According to an announcement issued by the Royal Household Bureau, Her Royal Highness passed away at Chulalongkorn Hospital on Thursday, 11 June 2026, at 19:48 hours.Her Royal Highness was widely respected for her dedication to public service, the advancement of justice, and her unwavering commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable members of society. Throughout her life, she made significant contributions to the Kingdom of Thailand and its people, leaving a legacy that will be remembered with gratitude, admiration and respect.In accordance with the announcement published in the Royal Gazette, government offices have been instructed to fly flags at half-mast, and government officials will observe a 15-day mourning period commencing on 12 June 2026.During this time of national mourning, Bangkok Prep extends its deepest condolences to the Royal Family and to all those affected by this profound loss.
