🎨 Bangkok Prep’s First Art Auction is coming up in support of Thomas House! All proceeds help children with special educational needs in Chiang Rai. Join us for the very first Bangkok Prep Arts Charity Auction, an exciting community event celebrating creativity for a meaningful cause. This special afternoon will raise support for our new charity partnership with Thomas House, Chiang Rai, helping make a positive difference beyond our campus. Free entry, snacks provided, and all are welcome. 📅 Mon, May 25 (After School) We are proud to launch a new Secondary charity partnership with Thomas House in Chiang Rai, supporting vulnerable children and young people with additional learning needs. Join us for this special launch event, where you will hear the inspiring story of one programme beneficiary, who went from speaking little English to earning a scholarship to study in the UK and is now training to become a teacher in Bangkok. The evening will also feature a student-led art auction hosted by our Year 11 students — a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our students’ creativity, support an important cause, and help raise vital funds for Thomas House. Want to attend or place a silent bid? Meet our special guest speaker: My name is Aom, and I am 26 years old. I am of Shan, an ethnic minority group primarily residing in northern Thailand. I began my education at a government school in Chaing Mai before receiving a high school scholarship from MRV Education Center. This opportunity later led to a scholarship to continue my studies at University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. The educational opportunities and support I have received throughout my life have been truly life-changing, shaping both my personal growth and future aspirations. I am currently working as a teaching assistant at King’s College International School Bangkok. My passion is to support and inspire young people, particularly disadvantaged children, through education as a way of giving back and creating opportunities for others, just as I once received.
