You are invited to join the launch of the Ethical Engagement Campaign! A practical initiative to help schools strengthen how they approach volunteering, charitable giving and community partnerships. This Campaign Launch is designed for school leaders, board members and student leaders who want to ensure their community engagement and programs genuinely protect and benefit children. Many well-intentioned school activities still support models of care that separate children from families. This event will clarify what responsible engagement looks like today, and how your school can align with emerging global standards while continuing to lead meaningful outreach. You will gain: A clear framework for ethical engagement in school programsPractical guidance for reviewing current partnerships and activitiesInsight from leading voices in child safeguarding and care reform You will also hear from speakers representing the British Embassy, UNICEF Thailand, Alternative Care Thailand and Mahidol University, alongside speakers with lived experience of residential care—bringing both policy and personal insight into what effective reform looks like in practice. This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with organisations shaping best practice in this space. The campaign draws on the UK’s 2025 Global Charter on Children’s Care Reform and is supported by the British Embassy in Thailand, British Council and UNICEF.
