Student Art Sale Success: 23,500 THB raised

20-10-2026

Year 12 students raised 23,500 Baht, hosting an art sale at the end of last year, to support a small, specialised school for children with special educational needs in Chiang Mai, Thomas House. An act of kindness that promotes Bangkok Prep's key vision of Sustainability.

A massive thank you to all the parents, staff, and students who supported the Art Sale Charity Event organised by thestudents on the 11th and 16th of June.

Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we successfully sold over 25 pieces of artwork created by previously graduated IGCSE Art students and raised an impressive total of 23,500 Baht. We are delighted to share that all proceeds have been donated to Thomas House, a small, specialised school in Chiang Rai that supports children with special educational needs. Thomas House provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can develop essential life skills, build confidence, form meaningful friendships, and reach their full potential through personalised learning programmes tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Through your support, this donation will help Thomas House continue providing high-quality care and education for its students. The funds will contribute towards essential operating costs, including staff salaries, transportation services, daily meals, learning resources, and the maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment.

This achievement demonstrates the positive impact that can be made when our school community comes together for a meaningful cause. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs. Your support will have a lasting impact on the Thomas House community and the students it serves.
