A massive thank you to everyone who supported the WFFT charity event organised by the students of Surus House earlier this month!Through your amazing support — and a lot of pizza, doughnuts, and iced tea — we officially hit our target and raised a whopping 8,500 Baht! This incredible total is enough to feed a rescued elephant at Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) for an entire month.Following the donation, WFFT shared their heartfelt thanks with our community, explaining how the contribution will help support the more than 850 rescued animals currently in their care, including elephants, tigers, otters, gibbons, macaques, and many more. Their wildlife hospital has recently welcomed several new rescue cases, including a macaque exploited in the coconut industry, a raccoon rescued from the exotic pet trade, injured wild birds, and a badly injured slow loris. Donations like this help provide these animals with safety, medical care, and a second chance at life. And the winner is...The mystery is over! A huge congratulations to Mila (9CL), whose elephant’s name, Marshmallow, was randomly selected at the end of the day. Congratulations on winning your elephant teddy!Well done to the Surus House team for a brilliantly organised event, and to our entire school community for showing such giant-sized generosity and compassion for animals in need.To read more about the incredible work being carried out by WFFT, visit their latest updates here: WFFT News BlogRhiannon R-GYear 12#SurusHouse #WFFT #ElephantConservation #SchoolCharity #Community
