Bangkok Prep celebrated Wai Kru Day this October, with Primary marking the occasion on Friday 2 October and Secondary following on Thursday 8 October. This important Thai tradition provides an opportunity for students to express their gratitude and respect for the teachers who guide and support them. In Primary, students took part in a series of meaningful activities, including singing the traditional Thai song Ya Wa, chanting Bot Suat Pa Jera (บทสวดปาเจรา), and presenting flower garlands to their teachers as a gesture of appreciation. A heartfelt thank you to our Thai Department for their hard work in organising these special celebrations, and congratulations to all the students who participated across both Primary and Secondary. Their involvement helped honour this cherished Thai tradition and celebrate the important relationships between teachers and students.
