This week, our Year 3 and Year 4 students came together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival! 🥮🌕 We explored the rich traditions of this special holiday through fun and interactive activities: Songs & Stories: The children sang a festive song and listened to the famous story of Chang'e Flying to the Moon (嫦娥奔月Cháng'é bēn yuè). Crafts: Hands-on creativity was in full swing as students crafted their very own colorful "mooncakes" (月饼yuè bǐng) to mark the celebration! It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and learn the significance of family, togetherness, and gratitude. 中秋节快乐!(Zhōng qiū jié kuài lè! ) Wishing everyone a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!🌸
