Visual Arts Scholarships (Art, Photography, and Design Technology)

• To apply for a visual arts scholarship, candidates should complete the following:
  • Bangkok Prep’s Application form
  • Two references preferably from the applicants current school
  • Scholarship Personal Statement and Academic Background
  • School Reports (At least 2 years)
  • External qualification results
  • Portfolio of athletic achievements which note the sport, level performed at, achievement and date of achievement.
  • Parent/Guardian & Child Passport / Thai ID copies
  •  Portfolios
    • Art & Photography: At least 15-20 pieces
    • Design Technology: evidence of design work / projects and practical 3D outcomes

You can submit your portfolio as a standard PDF attachment or as a Google Drive link (allowing public access), and all other supporting documents in one email to our admissions department at admissions@bkkprep.ac.th

Next Steps:

1. Admissions will contact the applicant to arrange assessment testing and school tour (if applicable).
2. Candidates will be shortlisted for Interviews and a demonstration of creative abilities.

If receiving an athletic scholarship, students must:

• Choose Art & Design, Photography, Digital Media and Design or Design Technology at A Level
• Attend, participate and potentially assist in the leadership of Visual Arts ECA’s
• Be a Creative Arts Prefect

Application dates

Applications Open Thursday 15 September 2022. Early application is advised.

Application deadline Monday 31 October 2022

Scholarship Assessment Dates at Bangkok Prep Secondary Campus:

• Thursday 29 September
• Monday 17 October
• Friday 28 October
• Thursday 3 November

All applicants must attend assessments on campus on one of these dates.

Shortlisted Scholarship Interview Day: Tuesday 22 November 2022.

All shortlisted applicants must attend our campus on this day for a range of activities including interviews, presentations and discussions about your pathways.

Early December 2022 - Scholarship program results announced by email
